Description

  • Prepare the company’s quarterly cash flow forecast.
  • Assess cash flow forecasts and results, investigate variances, and identify underlying drivers.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to develop and maintain the cash flow budget.
  • Reconcile cash flow forecasts to actual results and provide variance analysis and commentary to management.
  • Prepare cash flow reporting and analysis for leadership and the Board as needed.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and other Finance stakeholders on cash flow matters.
  • Work with Treasury to monitor cash movements and improve visibility into the company’s cash position.
  • Lead the redesign and continuous improvement of the cash flow forecasting framework and supporting models.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency through automation, systems improvements, and scalable processes.
  • Contribute to financial models and planning system transformation in Pigment, and build new analysis and tools to improve visibility into cash flow drivers.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A.
  • CPA designation or currently in the process of obtaining one.
  • B.Comm in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow drivers, including working capital and balance sheet movements.
  • Experience with financial planning systems such as Pigment or Adaptive, and accounting systems such as NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative mindset and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English as a working language required.
  • SOX reporting experience is preferred.
  • Experience with publicly traded companies is preferred.
  • IFRS knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced company is preferred.
