Description

Define and maintain the overall hardware quality strategy, including testing frameworks, quality gates, and acceptance criteria across the portfolio.
Lead structured investigations into hardware failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive containment actions to completion.
Define and maintain supplier performance monitoring and inbound inventory inspection plans.
Support returns triage and disposition decisions.
Publish recurring quality dashboards and narratives for stakeholders and leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to broader organizational objectives as needed.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in hardware quality, supplier quality, reliability engineering, or manufacturing quality for devices, peripherals, or accessories.
Hands-on experience building test plans, validation protocols, sampling plans, and launch quality gates.
Experience troubleshooting hardware in the field, including networking basics, peripherals, and device OS behavior/logs, to isolate failure modes.
Proven experience with root cause analysis, CAPA/8D, and supplier management, including scorecards, audits, and escalation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze RMAs, support tickets, and operational data to identify trends.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Hardware Ops, Support, and Sales teams.
Fluency in English as a working language is required.
Preferred: experience with data-driven defect analysis and supplier performance monitoring.
