Description

  • Develop systems and tools that strengthen DLP, device hardening, SaaS, and zero trust security layers.
  • Execute security strategy and policy for Life360-built services and SaaS applications.
  • Review infrastructure systems, fleet management, and automation designs and provide architectural guidance.
  • Own EDR deployment health and fleet coverage, ensuring CrowdStrike Falcon agents are installed, current, and correctly configured across managed devices.
  • Partner with IT to identify and close endpoint coverage gaps and support fleet management and device hardening.
  • Partner with Detection & Response to enable required telemetry from corporate systems for detection and investigation.
  • Build and operate agent-assisted workflows across endpoint, SaaS, and security awareness domains.
  • Automate repetitive security tasks using Python, Tray.io, Lambda, and AI agents.
  • Engineer controls that support SOC 2 and privacy requirements and help with evidence collection and audit readiness.
  • Own the security awareness program end-to-end, including training, phishing simulations, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of security engineering experience with hands-on ownership of endpoint security, SaaS security, or DLP.
  • Hands-on AWS security experience, including IAM policies and CloudTrail.
  • Advanced knowledge of operating systems with experience in at least two areas such as macOS or Windows hardening, SaaS security, DLP, or assurance and validation.
  • Experience securing corporate email infrastructure, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and anti-phishing controls in Google Workspace or equivalent.
  • Experience designing and operating zero trust access controls, including device trust signals, conditional access, and contextual access policies.
  • Proven track record implementing preventative security controls.
  • Experience managing EDR fleet health at scale, including deployment, version currency, policy compliance, and coverage remediation; CrowdStrike Falcon preferred.
  • Fluent AI user with experience using Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools to ship production automations or agents.
  • Comfortable building with APIs and MCP, not just configuring GUIs.
  • Clear, direct communicator who can push back on risk and align with IT, Engineering, and leadership.
  • Strong collaborator who prioritizes effectively and works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • OSCP, GIAC, or equivalent advanced certifications preferred.
  • Experience building agent-assisted security workflows with MCP servers preferred.
  • Experience with DLP tooling preferred.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF preferred.
