Description

  • Develop and maintain Angular frontend applications with a focus on performance and user experience
  • Build and extend Go microservices that power document processing and AI pipelines
  • Write, test, and deploy containerized applications using Docker (Dockerfiles, container management, Docker Compose)
  • Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS and operate services in production
  • Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) daily to accelerate development and improve code quality
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack independently
  • Collaborate asynchronously with a small remote team and communicate clearly and proactively
  • Own tasks from start to finish and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and new technical challenges

Requirements

  • 1+ year of professional software engineering experience (this is not an entry-level role)
  • 1+ year of Angular experience (Angular 19+ preferred; familiarity with signals, zoneless change detection, and SSR is a plus)
  • 1+ year of Go experience building production services or tooling
  • 1+ year of Docker experience including writing Dockerfiles, managing containers, and using Docker Compose
  • 1+ year of AWS experience (EC2, S3, SQS, ECS, Lambda, or similar services)
  • 1+ year of experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar
  • 1+ year of experience with asynchronous remote communication tools (Slack, Teams, Zoom, etc.) and strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
  • Preferred: any level of Rust experience; familiarity with NestJS, GraphQL, or Prisma; infra-as-code tools (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation); CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions); Python for scripting/ML-adjacent work
  • Willingness to complete a 6-month trial period on an hourly-pay basis before potential conversion to full-time salaried employment; US-based applicants only
