Description

  • Build analytics and procedures to monitor credit performance and protect the company’s bottom line.
  • Create reporting and dashboards that communicate credit risk trends to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve credit underwriting models.
  • Update loss forecasting estimates and analyze portfolio profitability.
  • Identify process improvements that reduce underwriting friction while preserving decision integrity.
  • Leverage automation and AI to generate more insights with less overhead.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment.
  • Help create structure and scalable risk analytics processes where little exists.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in lending analytics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a risk environment where consumer credit risk is not the only factor.
  • A track record of earning increased responsibility or promotions through performance.
  • Experience in an early-stage or similarly low-structure environment where initiative was required.
  • Comfort working across multiple functions and wearing multiple hats.
  • Strong SQL and/or Python skills.
  • Passion for leveraging AI and automation to build lean, scalable risk analytics programs.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to dive into consumer data and solve practical problems.
  • Interest in growing into people leadership over time.
  • Experience in a company where independent execution and self-direction were essential.
