Description

  • Triage second-line security alerts and determine the severity of security events.
  • Respond to potential business-impacting incidents and help defend the business against threats and malicious actors.
  • Monitor and analyze vulnerability management tools and feeds.
  • Provide remediation guidance to downstream business teams and help manage technical risk.
  • Operate the security awareness program, including course design, phishing simulations, reporting, and user support.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders by gathering information and evidence for security governance activities and compliance audits.
  • Use AI and automation to improve compliance processes, business operations, and team efficiency.
  • Undertake small projects that mitigate risk and support broader company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, plus 1–3 years of information security experience, or equivalent 4–6 years of work experience.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience using business AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Atlassian Rovo, or Anthropic Claude.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, vulnerability scanners, and security assessment tools.
  • Exposure to building SaaS applications and/or modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience working in a professional IT environment supporting a remote workforce with primarily SaaS-based business tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in cybersecurity.
  • Interest in or prior experience with compliance or data privacy, preferred.
  • Security certifications and/or additional formal education beyond degree requirements, preferred.
  • Understanding of web accessibility, preferred.
  • Ability to maintain consistent daily overlap with EST business hours while working remotely from Ukraine.
