Description

  • Audit research gaps across Lemnis companies and establish a prioritized portfolio-wide research agenda.
  • Design and execute RCTs, quasi-experimental studies, longitudinal analyses, social network analyses, and psychometric research.
  • Build shared measurement models, theories of change, logic models, and evidence standards across products and learner populations.
  • Translate research findings into product, feature, messaging, and roadmap recommendations, including post-launch validation.
  • Create research-informed sales and marketing assets, ROI narratives, case studies, and thought-leadership content.
  • Contribute research, frameworks, standards, and white papers to the Center for Ethical AI (CEAI).
  • Represent Lemnis research at conferences, convenings, and partner events.
  • Collaborate across companies and with the Director of Research to align internal and partner-embedded studies.
  • Mentor research scientists and analysts on study design, measurement, and evidence translation.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in psychology, learning sciences, education, or a related behavioral science field.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and executing applied research, including RCTs, quasi-experimental, and mixed-methods studies.
  • Expertise in belonging, identity, motivation, social-emotional development, student engagement, and persistence.
  • Advanced quantitative skills, including structural equation modeling and social network analysis, alongside qualitative methods such as interviews and focus groups.
  • Background in educational technology, assessment and efficacy research, or large-scale learning-outcomes studies.
  • Ability to translate research into product decisions and develop evidence assets for sales, partnerships, or business development.
  • Familiarity with ethical AI principles, IRB processes, and responsible education research practices.
  • Experience synthesizing evidence across multiple companies or business units into a shared narrative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, balancing academic rigor with executive clarity.
  • Understanding of K-12 district and postsecondary decision-making and success measures preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary of $145,000–$175,000, depending on experience.
  • Full-time, primarily remote position.
