Description

  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver complex software projects.
  • Coordinate with scrum masters, project managers, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications.
  • Provide technical leadership across all software development processes.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new software systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Ensure software engineering projects are delivered on time and meet agreed quality standards.
  • Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good engineering practices and habits.
  • Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and career development support to team members.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and implement resolution strategies.
  • Continuously update technical knowledge and share learnings with the team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with full-stack development and modern architectures such as microservices and event-driven systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, functional programming, and scripting.
  • Experience with UX best practices, unit testing, and TDD/BDD.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and database management, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Proven track record in managing software products, leading teams, and delivering innovative solutions under urgency.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and client management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, version control with Git, testing frameworks, software security, and fast-changing environments.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and flexible, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and experimentation with new approaches.
