Description

  • Own features end-to-end across the Next.js frontend and NestJS backend services.
  • Develop and maintain frontend features using TypeScript, SWR, Tailwind, and a component-driven design system.
  • Build RESTful APIs for authentication, data processing, billing, usage tracking, and AI workflow orchestration.
  • Own backend services from schema design and migrations through deployment and observability.
  • Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs and APIs for payments, authentication, analytics, and messaging.
  • Build AI agents and tools using the Claude SDK and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Design and maintain Prisma and PostgreSQL data models, including safe schema evolution and migrations.
  • Implement feature flags, A/B experiments, and analytics events to support data-driven product decisions.
  • Handle webhooks and asynchronous task processing with strong reliability for payment-critical and PII-handling flows.
  • Collaborate with AI product managers and specialists to turn complex requirements into scalable features and help maintain cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Highly proficient in TypeScript across both frontend and backend environments.
  • Strong experience with React and Next.js App Router, including Server Components, route handlers, streaming, metadata, i18n, and modern data-fetching patterns.
  • Solid experience building production REST APIs with NestJS or comparable Node frameworks such as Express or Fastify.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM such as Prisma, including schema design, migrations, and transaction reasoning.
  • Real experience integrating third-party SDKs, including webhooks, idempotency, retries, and asynchronous fulfillment.
  • Collaborative, pragmatic problem-solving mindset with willingness to challenge assumptions and discuss tradeoffs.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI products and a proactive approach to bringing in new techniques and tools.
  • Creative, self-directed, and able to propose features and improve user experience without being asked.
  • Ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly, adapting in days rather than weeks.
  • Nice to have: experience with payment or subscription systems, monorepo tooling, BigQuery, Tailwind, feature-flag systems, GCP, or AI/LLM-powered products.
