Description

  • Design and grow end-to-end and integration test coverage using Cypress.
  • Own the bug lifecycle from triage through production fix.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data teams to review requirements and surface risks early.
  • Define what "done" means by helping shape acceptance criteria and release readiness.
  • Identify gaps in the quality process and implement improvements that raise the team’s quality bar.
  • Perform exploratory testing across web and mobile experiences on different devices.
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to catch issues before they reach customers.
  • Use AI-enabled workflows and tooling to improve QA output and reduce repetitive work.

Requirements

  • AI-native experience using tools like Claude Code to write, maintain, and extend test code.
  • Comfort with browser MCPs, agent workflows, and scripts that automate QA work.
  • Automation-first mindset with a strong focus on preventing issues through test infrastructure.
  • Customer-obsessed approach to testing real user flows rather than checking specs only.
  • Adaptability to changing tools, stacks, and processes in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Collaborative and direct communication style with Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Strong technical ability to read and write code, test front-end and back-end web services, write SQL queries, and debug across the stack.
  • Experience with Cypress is relevant, though the team adapts and does not require a single-tool mindset.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and moving before everything is fully defined.
  • Not a fit for candidates who prefer manual testing over automation or who are limited to one layer of the stack.
