Description

  • Lead day-to-day direction and strategic decisions for four+ client accounts across B2B and B2C technology verticals.
  • Plan, prioritize and execute comprehensive PR programs and campaign roadmaps that translate big ideas into clear objectives and priorities.
  • Develop key messaging and positioning statements for emerging products and companies.
  • Manage multiple teams and/or large-scale projects, coordinating cross-functional work and timelines.
  • Execute media relations work including pitching, relationship building, and securing coverage.
  • Contribute hands-on to the most challenging or innovative program goals and deliverables.
  • Coach, teach, and develop talent by establishing work standards, providing feedback, and mentoring team members.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on agency activities such as pitching new business and supporting agency growth efforts.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of public relations experience at an agency or startup technology/D2C company.
  • At least 2 years of program development and team management experience.
  • Proven experience leading four or more accounts or equivalent scope of work.
  • Experience developing key messaging and positioning for emerging products or companies.
  • Advanced writing and editing skills with a track record as a seasoned plan writer.
  • Strong project management skills across several distinct teams or large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated media relations expertise and experience securing press coverage.
  • Effective teacher, coach, and talent developer with direct, transparent, and inclusive communication skills.
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating original ideas, expert execution, and strategic communication.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and familiarity with verticals such as transportation & logistics, enterprise software, AI, and finance (preferred).
