Description

  • Own the reporting infrastructure and end-to-end reporting lifecycle across assigned verticals, from raw data ingestion to final dashboard delivery.
  • Partner closely with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management teams to uncover trends and translate data into business decisions.
  • Audit existing reporting to identify discrepancies, redundancies, and inconsistencies, then develop a roadmap to standardize dashboards and data sources.
  • Conduct retrospective analyses across experiments, creatives, offers, seasonality, CAC performance, and other full-funnel metrics.
  • Build, standardize, and improve reporting assets that teams actually use, understand, and act on.
  • Develop complex semantic models and dashboards using LookML or equivalent BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Bridge business context and data understanding by explaining how verticals make money and what performance levers matter most.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis with accuracy and business context while continuously improving data literacy across teams.
  • Recommend actions based on findings and serve as a proactive analytical partner rather than a dashboard-only builder.
  • Establish trusted working relationships with stakeholders through education, best practices, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics.
  • Direct exposure to performance marketing or affiliate marketing.
  • Expert SQL skills and comfort working with unstructured, complex data.
  • Experience extracting accurate insights from raw, messy, or third-party data without relying on clean models.
  • Advanced LookML development experience or equivalent experience in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience owning reporting end-to-end, including pipeline to dashboard.
  • Ability to understand downstream impacts when modifying complex data models.
  • Strong curiosity and business acumen, with a habit of asking questions before analyzing data.
  • Ability to communicate findings with the right context for the right audience.
  • Preferred: experience partnering closely with business teams to uncover trends and drive decisions that moved the business.

  • Base salary of $120,000 to $150,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.
