Description

  • Work with experienced colleagues to understand client challenges and business processes.
  • Contribute to the development of data-driven digital solutions for client projects.
  • Implement best-practice data solutions in collaboration with technical experts and consultants.
  • Support the development of internal digital tools and data initiatives.
  • Help productise client solutions so they can be scaled across clients and sectors.
  • Learn and follow Laminar’s delivery processes and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Translate complex business and technical ideas clearly for different audiences.
  • Work across the project life cycle using modern digital technologies and data tools.

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Engineering, Surveying, Project Management, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering or construction on large capital projects over USD 100m.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrable passion for digital transformation and improving capital project delivery.
  • An analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Curiosity to learn the latest digital tools and processes across the project life cycle.
  • Experience implementing and improving data and digital solutions across an organisation or large project (preferred).
  • Consultancy experience (preferred).
  • Product management or software development experience (preferred).
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, and databases such as SQL or Azure (preferred).
  • Must be located in the UK and have current right to work in the UK; visa transfers may be supported, but new visa sponsorship is not available.
