Description

  • Build a documented, repeatable Amazon SEO framework covering titles, bullets, descriptions, A+ content, backend search terms, and keyword research.
  • Own SEO execution for priority ASINs, including optimizing new listings at creation and improving existing high-revenue listings across a catalog of roughly 2,500 to 2,800 ASINs.
  • Create and maintain keyword research workflows using DataDive as the primary tool and Helium 10 as a secondary tool.
  • Develop category-based keyword libraries that support both SEO and PPC, and coordinate with the PPC lead to keep keyword strategy aligned.
  • Identify underperforming listings caused by catalog issues and coordinate fixes with the catalog team.
  • Partner on image-quality standards, approved image sources, and a centralized image-source database.
  • Flag variation structure issues, missing attributes, suppressed pages, and inconsistent product data that affect ranking and visibility.
  • Track and report pre- and post-optimization performance, including rank movement, sessions, conversion rate, and unit velocity.
  • Deliver weekly SEO updates, monthly rollups, and maintain a leadership-facing SEO scorecard.
  • Document workflows with SOPs and Loom walkthroughs, and train the catalog team on SEO standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Amazon SEO and listing optimization experience, ideally with an Amazon reseller, agency, or aggregator.
  • Deep proficiency with DataDive or equivalent tools such as Helium 10 Cerebro and Magnet, Jungle Scout, or SmartScout.
  • Demonstrated ability to write Amazon titles, bullets, descriptions, and backend search terms that improve rank.
  • Portfolio examples of Amazon SEO work are required for the interview.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon A9 and COSMO behavior for reseller listings versus brand-owner listings.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon bulk operations, including flat files, listing loader, Variation Wizard, Amazon Master files, and variation family fixes.
  • Comfort working in large catalogs with 1,000+ ASINs and limited brand assets.
  • Ability to source images, color data, and product information from supplier and brand sites.
  • Excellent written English and the ability to produce SOPs, Loom walkthroughs, and structured written updates.
  • Strong working proficiency with AI tools, especially Claude, and ability to use AI daily for keyword expansion, competitor analysis, copy drafting, SOP creation, and workflow automation.
  • Prompt engineering skills for producing high-quality Amazon SEO outputs with minimal back-and-forth.
  • Nice to have: experience in athletic, apparel, or footwear categories on Amazon.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with PPC fundamentals so SEO and PPC keyword libraries can be unified.
  • Nice to have: experience connecting AI tools to data sources such as Google Drive, Gmail, Asana, or Slack for cross-referenced reporting and analysis.
  • Nice to have: multi-marketplace SEO experience, including Amazon CA, Amazon MX, TikTok Shop, Temu, or Shein.
