Description

  • Develop ETL flows on the Azure cloud stack, including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, SQL DW, stream analytics, machine learning, and R server.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data processing flows and data models for performance.
  • Build and maintain reporting, analytical models, and dashboards.
  • Work on large-scale data lifecycle systems and data/AI product delivery.
  • Support the design and implementation of BI solutions based on data structures and data models.
  • Contribute to the development of real-time Big Data solutions processing massive volumes of events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical experience in database development, preferably with SQL and Azure SQL.
  • Experience designing and building database solutions such as tables, stored procedures, forms, and queries.
  • Business intelligence knowledge with a strong understanding of data structures and data models.
  • Experience with advanced analytics technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, SQL DW, stream analytics, machine learning, or R server.
  • Knowledge of data formats and the differences between them.
  • Experience with the Hadoop stack, RDBMS and/or NoSQL, and Kafka.
  • Experience with Java, Scala, and/or Python.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Understanding of test-driven development, automated testing, and software engineering best practices such as performance, security, and BDD.
  • Understanding of the Docker/Kubernetes paradigm.
  • Strong intermediate English proficiency.
  • Microsoft certification is a plus.
