Description

  • Drive revenue growth within existing North American maritime accounts and achieve assigned sales targets/quotas.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with maritime clients, acting as the primary point of contact for account strategy and satisfaction.
  • Initiate and lead conversations with key stakeholders, including directors and senior managers, to identify business needs and opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to secure profitable, compliant agreements.
  • Identify and execute upsell opportunities across existing accounts, including new departments and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Success, to leverage client insights and coordinate delivery.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and product offerings to position Kpler’s solutions effectively.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience (Account Management or Business Development) selling SaaS/Data/Tech to the maritime industry.
  • Proven experience managing a book of business and meeting or exceeding sales targets/quotas.
  • Track record of initiating and managing discussions with senior stakeholders (directors, senior managers).
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close profitable agreements.
  • Self‑driven and disciplined with the ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
  • Team player mindset with a business-first approach.
  • Ability to analyze complex client requirements and translate them into solution opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of maritime, commodities, or energy sector dynamics and competitor landscapes.
