Description

  • Serve as KPI’s primary onsite contact and maintain strong relationships with customer representatives.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities according to project specifications, safety requirements, and drawings.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce health and safety practices, including regular safety meetings and compliance checks.
  • Supervise 4–6 assigned team members and subcontractors, monitoring work quality, progress, and completion.
  • Lead project updates and meetings, including at least weekly coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Provide KPI leadership with frequent project updates, daily reports, and alerts.
  • Identify site issues and coordinate timely resolutions with KPI’s engineering team.
  • Work with the project manager to deliver the scoped solution within schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Manage suppliers, third parties, visitors, and daily site-office operations.
  • Respond to client or project needs after hours or on weekends when required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Trade school training in a mechanical trade, such as millwright, is a plus.
  • 5–8 years of supervisory experience in material handling, robotics, manufacturing, or packaging, preferably in highly automated environments.
  • Experience supervising project teams of 4–6 employees and subcontractors.
  • Strong organizational, written, oral, customer communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, software tools, HRIS tools, and employee databases.
  • Working knowledge of mailing processes and services, including postage machines, FedEx, and UPS.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time, typically on a 10-day-on/4-day-off rotation, with a goal of returning home every other weekend.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends; ability to lift and deliver packages or supplies weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite at customer locations in Washington.
