Description

  • Shape organizational strategy, culture, and enterprise-wide priorities as a member of the executive leadership team.
  • Set portfolio vision, priorities, delivery models, and expansion roadmaps for Agriculture or Health programs.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing program leadership teams and staff.
  • Design and run rigorous pilots with clear hypotheses, measurement systems, rapid iteration, and evidence-based scaling decisions.
  • Track and integrate emerging AI tools into practical, sustainable solutions for underserved populations.
  • Develop open-source playbooks, toolkits, and insights to build durable field knowledge.
  • Build partnerships among AI labs, researchers, governments, development organizations, and frontline implementers.
  • Support regional leaders with government relationships, adoption pathways, and policy enablement.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, grant development, and engagement with major funders.
  • Represent 2AI in senior public and private forums and help shape the organization’s future direction.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience building and leading international development programs or adjacent initiatives in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Demonstrated success scaling complex programs to national or regional scale across 3–5 countries.
  • Experience recruiting and developing high-performing teams and building new organizational functions.
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions in the relevant portfolio area is preferred, such as clinical decision support, digital health, telemedicine, digital agriculture, or agtech.
  • Fundraising or major donor engagement experience, including raising $5M+ annually.
  • Familiarity with African and/or Asian government institutions and processes.
  • Experience bridging technical and programmatic stakeholders across research, technology, delivery, and government environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of frontier AI tools and LLMs, including practical applications in low-resource settings.
  • Existing relationships with major global health or agriculture funders are a plus.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable. Willingness to work fully remotely within the U.S.
