Description

  • Prepare project estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Identify labor, material, and time requirements for proposed systems.
  • Work with CAD Designers and the Sales Team to design and develop solutions.
  • Compute project costs based on labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing project information.
  • Present prepared estimates with numerical and descriptive supporting details.
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintain the cost database by entering and backing up data.
  • Review plans and visit proposed sites as required to support estimating work.
  • Contribute to team efforts and related project results as needed.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience designing or estimating MHE technologies and storage solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams on large projects.
  • Detail oriented with superb time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Computer literacy with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to thrive in an innovative environment and work effectively with ambiguity.
  • Ability to perform high-level data analysis, detailed cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience with one or more major conveyor manufacturers such as Intelligrated, Dematic, Automotion, Hytrol, or TGW is preferred.
  • Intermittent travel to KPI client/vendor sites up to 10% of the time is required as necessary.
