Description

  • Own and lead UX research activities across discovery, concept validation, and usability phases.
  • Plan, conduct, and synthesize user interviews, usability tests, stakeholder interviews, and journey mapping.
  • Create actionable research outputs such as personas, user journeys, service blueprints, and research reports.
  • Identify and recruit users to participate in research through clients, internal teams, or customer success.
  • Translate research findings into product opportunities and design inputs.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and front-end teams throughout the design process.
  • Help shape and scale the research practice, including mentoring junior team members when needed.
  • Identify new research opportunities within existing client engagements to extend project value.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of hands-on UX research experience; internships and academic experience do not count.
  • Direct experience conducting research for enterprise or B2B products such as SaaS, healthcare, platforms, or internal tools.
  • Comfort working with US-based users and stakeholders, with the ability to adapt communication accordingly.
  • Strong system-level thinking with the ability to map workflows, identify gaps, and untangle complex journeys.
  • Ability to work effectively with open-ended and ambiguous briefs and drive the research process independently.
  • Familiarity with journey maps, service blueprints, or ecosystem maps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining research to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in healthcare, automation, or other complex, high-stakes domains is a bonus.
  • Exposure to continuous discovery practices alongside product teams is preferred.
  • Comfort engaging with product owners and client stakeholders to shape research direction and priorities is preferred.
