Description

  • Provide on-platform virtual behavioral health care to adolescents and young adults.
  • Deliver structured wellness coaching through prevention, wellness promotion, and psychoeducation sessions.
  • Assist with warm handoffs to Care Coordinators and support case management.
  • Develop individualized care plans and action plans to support positive behavioral change.
  • Conduct mental health and wellness screenings, progress monitoring, risk assessments, and mitigation.
  • Support users experiencing crisis and facilitate referrals as needed.
  • Moderate journals, goals, and other user-submitted content in line with policy and compliance standards.
  • Communicate with users and external providers to support seamless care transitions.
  • Attend clinical supervision, mandatory training, professional development, and team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records, support operational processes, and uphold safeguarding, privacy, and internal policy requirements.

Requirements

  • Current, valid California or national Peer Support Specialist certification, with a GED or high school diploma.
  • Competency or experience in peer support, strengths-based engagement, and emotional or behavioral support.
  • Current, valid California Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor certification, with a GED or high school diploma.
  • Education or relevant experience that supports behavioral health and wellness coaching competencies.
  • Ability to deliver structured coaching and single-session coaching interventions.
  • Experience supporting individuals with substance use-related behavioral change.
  • Preferred experience in crisis support services or related volunteer work.
  • Preferred experience in youth mental health, care coordination, or digital behavioral health environments.
  • Must permanently reside within the 48 contiguous United States.
  • Ability to maintain certification or licensure, as applicable.
