Description

  • Build agent harnesses in Python using LangChain and LangGraph, including tool calling, structured outputs, retries, streaming, and memory.
  • Package agent harnesses for the AgentCore Runtime with the right context, tools, skills, and subagents for production use cases.
  • Develop the tools and skills agents use, including API integrations, SQL queries against Snowflake, and knowledge retrieval with validation.
  • Create evaluation harnesses such as golden datasets, LLM-as-judge checks, and regression suites, and integrate them into CI.
  • Implement guardrails around tool execution, including auth scoping, input/output validation, PII protection, prompt-injection protection, and hallucination mitigation.
  • Prototype, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot agent features in production using Amazon AgentCore.
  • Partner with data engineers on Snowflake-backed retrieval patterns, including Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search Services.
  • Help refine internal engineering patterns as the platform and stack evolve.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional Python experience with production experience building and operating services.
  • 1+ years of hands-on production experience with LLMs, including prompt/context engineering, tool or function calling, structured outputs, and RAG.
  • Working knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or a comparable framework such as AgentCore Strands, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
  • Experience with LLM observability tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, LangSmith, Langfuse, MLflow, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience designing evaluation frameworks such as MLflow, DeepEval, LLM-as-judge, or multi-turn regression testing.
  • Fluency with Git, Docker, and modern API frameworks.
  • Clear written communication and sound judgment about when something is ready to ship.
  • Bachelor's degree not required; equivalent practical experience, including bootcamps, self-taught work, career changes, or non-CS technical degrees, is accepted.
  • Strongly preferred: hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and/or AgentCore, including runtime, gateways, memory, policy, guardrails, observability, awscli, and evaluations.
  • Strongly preferred: experience with Snowflake, Snowpark, or Snowflake Cortex, plus fluency in SQL and semantic models.
  • Strongly preferred: familiarity with multi-agent patterns such as supervisor/router, subagent/handoff, reflection, and human-in-the-loop.
  • Strongly preferred: experience in Loyalty, MarTech, AdTech, or a comparable data-rich B2B domain.
