Description

  • Own the full lifecycle of company-owned computers and related office equipment, including systems used for remote access.
  • Set up, configure, provision, deploy, and deprovision computers, peripherals, user accounts, and remote access tools.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, including device details, assigned users, software, warranty status, and access status.
  • Monitor device availability and performance and resolve hardware, software, network, and remote access issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, software updates, security patching, hardware upgrades, and routine endpoint management.
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, warranty claims, and vendor support for unresolved issues.
  • Support onboarding, transfers, and offboarding by managing access, data transfers, and device reassignment.
  • Maintain secure remote access configurations and ensure access is granted and revoked appropriately.
  • Manage software and SaaS subscription records, renewals, license utilization, costs, and approved users.
  • Create documentation, usage reports, and recommendations for renewals, consolidation, cancellation, or expansion of services.
  • Manage backup schedules, retention, storage, access controls, and restoration testing for critical company data.
  • Lead or support software implementations, migrations, rollouts, permissions, integrations, testing, and training handoffs.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on technical requirements, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support security and compliance practices including MFA, endpoint protection, least-privilege access, and secure configurations.
  • Identify technology risks, capacity issues, single points of failure, and cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, endpoint management, IT operations, or a related technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS computers, peripherals, and common business applications.
  • Experience managing office-hosted computers or workstations accessed remotely by distributed employees or contractors.
  • Strong understanding of device provisioning and deprovisioning, user access management, patching, preventive maintenance, and asset inventory controls.
  • Experience administering SaaS subscriptions, software licenses, renewals, user assignments, and recurring technology costs.
  • Knowledge of backup systems, retention practices, restoration testing, data recovery, and basic business continuity principles.
  • Experience implementing or migrating business software, including configuration, permissions, data transfer, testing, rollout, and user support.
  • Working knowledge of IT security practices, including multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access, endpoint protection, secure remote access, and account lifecycle management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network, access, and configuration issues.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation, inventories, cost reports, and recurring schedules.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for working with technical and non-technical users, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
