Description

  • Manage and expand sales within existing accounts while prospecting for new business.
  • Build relationships with owners, buyers, dispensary managers, budtenders, and other retail stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and contribute to sales, distribution, field activity, and brand-awareness KPIs.
  • Design and implement promotional programs, incentives, displays, merchandising, product launches, and retail training with marketing teams and partners.
  • Use data and analytics to guide account strategy, decision-making, and performance measurement.
  • Identify new accounts and expand Kiva product distribution within existing accounts.
  • Record retailer interactions, contact information, activities, and follow-up tasks in Salesforce.
  • Travel independently between worksites and perform field activities, including moving materials or equipment up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • Must reside in New Jersey and be at least 21 years old.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience with increasing responsibility.
  • At least 2 years of cannabis industry experience preferred.
  • Account management experience selling premium products in price-sensitive markets.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, organization, and customer-service skills.
  • Knowledge of the relevant market, surrounding area, and competitive trends.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and CRM tools; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and meet Kiva’s Motor Vehicle Report requirements.
  • Reliable internet access, a professional remote workspace, and ability to travel independently; willingness to work outdoors or move loads up to 50 pounds.
