Description

  • Develop and refine specialized custom tools to improve internal team workflows and efficiency.
  • Integrate internal tools with core platforms via APIs to pull and push data.
  • Apply AI features where appropriate to enhance team member workflows and capabilities.
  • Assist with administering and operating servers that host internal tooling.
  • Provide support to colleagues using custom-developed tools and applications.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams across Technical Support, Billing, Customer Success, Malware & Abuse, and Migrations.
  • Take ownership of assigned work and deliver solutions that create business value quickly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a very small team.
  • Strong curiosity and a drive for professional growth and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to ask probing questions, anticipate challenges, and propose solutions proactively.
  • Comfort thinking beyond the explicit Jira ticket requirements to define better solutions.
  • Consistent ability to meet deadlines and communicate early when timelines are at risk.
  • Experience with Python, including Quart, FastAPI, async patterns, and pytest.
  • Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, including Node.js, MySQL, REST API structure, and JWT authentication.
  • Excitement to use tools such as Claude Code with a trust-but-verify mindset.
  • Preferred experience with LLM API integration such as OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic.
  • Preferred experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD.
  • Preferred experience with Linux server administration, including systemd, Nginx, PM2, SSH/rsync, and Bash.
  • Preferred experience with Redis, including pub/sub and task queuing.
  • Preferred experience with PHP and the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Preferred experience with Svelte/SvelteKit, Chrome Extension development, Intercom API, and GraphQL.
