Description

  • Develop and maintain models for asset valuation using statistical analysis and market risk factor insights.
  • Build portfolio management models such as value forecasting and market risk segmentation.
  • Monitor model performance regularly and improve existing models over time.
  • Develop analytical tools that support other teams across the business.
  • Partner with the technology team to improve data capabilities and streamline infrastructure.
  • Work with engineers and data infrastructure teams to design useful data attributes.
  • Perform exploratory analysis and recommend improvements to data models and decisioning frameworks.
  • Refactor analytic solutions to improve scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, economics, finance, physics, or mathematics, plus 2+ years of modeling experience at a commercial bank, investment bank, consulting firm, or fintech company; or an advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a quantitative discipline.
  • Statistical experience in model development at the account, customer, or asset level.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and AI capabilities.
  • Strong programming skills in R, SQL, and Python.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in practical terms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Hands-on experience with automated valuation models (preferred).
  • Exposure to time-to-event/survival analysis or financial econometric modeling (preferred).
  • Experience handling unstructured data, Spark, Monte Carlo simulation, and/or Bayesian statistics (preferred).
  • Progress toward FRM or CFA certification (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $139,000–$231,700 depending on location, plus equity and benefits.

  • 401(k) plan with 100% employer match up to 3% of compensation or $8,000, with immediate vesting.
