Description

  • Review incoming community interactions across social media platforms and communicate directly with players.
  • Respond to comments and player questions in a timely manner.
  • Create engaging social media content.
  • Build reports on community growth and engagement and recommend improvements.
  • Collate and report player feedback to developers.
  • Help maintain a safe, welcoming game community.
  • Moderate discussions and comments according to community guidelines.
  • Proactively suggest ways to grow and support the community.
  • Create and update related documentation as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in community management or social media for gaming.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Bilingual ability, especially English with French, Spanish, or German, is a plus.
  • Passion for video games and social media.
  • Strong understanding of community and social media platforms such as Discord, Twitch, Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Experience with social listening and social management best practices.
  • Experience managing or moderating a thriving gaming community.
  • Higher education in marketing, business administration, communication, adult education, or a related field.
  • Full-time availability is typically required, though part-time availability may be considered depending on projects.
