Description

  • Lead Workday Procure-to-Pay functional design, configuration, and testing activities.
  • Partner with procurement, finance, IT, and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Translate accounting needs into functional specifications for the technical team.
  • Configure and maintain Workday Procurement, Supplier Accounts, and Accounts Payable modules.
  • Support end-to-end P2P process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Deliver training and documentation for end users and stakeholders.
  • Stay current on Workday releases and recommend enhancements based on new features.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex ledger variances and reconciliation issues related to P2P and intercompany processes.
  • Support period-end close improvements and related financial discrepancy resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of Workday Finance functional experience with a focus on P2P.
  • Workday implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of procurement workflows, supplier lifecycle, and accounts payable processes.
  • Proven experience with Workday configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of the Accounting Equation and its application in a digital ledger system.
  • Experience managing P2P and intercompany reconciliations and resolving complex ledger variances.
  • Ability to handle external and intercompany P2P reconciliations and support Workday Business Assets.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams.
  • Workday Financials Certification preferred.
  • Workday Procure to Pay for Administrators certification or experience preferred.
  • Experience with integration touchpoints between Workday and third-party procurement or payment systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of R2R or O2C processes preferred.
  • Experience with the Workday Expenses module desirable.
  • Prior experience in a PSA organization desirable.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite desirable.
