Description

  • Scope research requests, plan the research approach, and deliver finished briefs from initial question to final output.
  • Research and verify information on companies, sectors, markets, and other business topics.
  • Track relevant market and competitive developments over time.
  • Turn raw findings into clear, structured written briefs and summaries with business insight.
  • Support company, market, and competitive intelligence work tied to the firm’s core activities.
  • Maintain research files and reference materials for future use.
  • Handle ad hoc research requests with strong accuracy and quick turnaround.
  • Establish and refine the research function’s workflows, templates, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Genuine, hands-on experience in market or business research.
  • Background in competitive intelligence, strategy/commercial research, or a related analytical field is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and verify information from multiple sources quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clean, structured, decision-ready briefs.
  • Fluency with research databases, company/industry data sources, and standard spreadsheet/office tools.
  • Strong written English and clear presentation of findings.
  • Comfort managing multiple research requests and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to independently scope and structure a body of research work without close supervision.
  • Familiarity with professional services, recruitment, or consulting environments is preferred.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability is preferred.
  • Experience preparing slides, summaries, or briefing materials is preferred.
