Description

  • Analyze and report on the organization’s security posture across identity, endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
  • Design and assess security architectures and control frameworks based on least privilege, zero trust, and defense-in-depth principles.
  • Evaluate access controls, authentication mechanisms, authorization models, and secure configuration processes.
  • Help develop and execute IT security strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.
  • Implement and validate security controls that protect confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
  • Partner with Identity Engineers to operate and mature IAM and PAM platforms.
  • Design and enforce RBAC, conditional access, and least-privilege models across enterprise systems.
  • Support identity lifecycle processes, access provisioning automation, MFA, passwordless authentication, and privileged elevation workflows.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, coordinate remediation efforts, and document or mitigate security risks identified in reviews and audits.
  • Maintain security documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and provide risk insights and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or information security engineering.
  • CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity security, and access control models.
  • Deep knowledge of IAM concepts including RBAC, MFA, PAM, SSO, federation, and identity governance.
  • Ability to collaborate across infrastructure, identity, cloud, and business teams.
  • Experience with security tools and platforms such as Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, Qualys, Rapid7, BitLocker, PGP, Mandiant, FireEye, Carbon Black, Azure Security Center, AWS Security Hub, GCP Security, and Oracle OCI Security Center.
  • Ability to stay current on emerging threats, identity attack vectors, and security technologies.
  • Experience aligning security policies, standards, and procedures with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
