Description

  • Build and maintain new product features while improving existing systems for reliability, performance, and user experience.
  • Design and build interactive web applications within an agile development team.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and QA throughout the development cycle to build, test, and improve features.
  • Provide technical leadership by guiding architectural decisions and strengthening code review quality.
  • Use data and experimentation, including A/B testing where relevant, to inform product decisions and improve acquisition and conversion.
  • Take ownership of problems, explore solutions independently, and contribute to design discussions and planning.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to draft code, explore solutions, and write tests while applying good judgment.
  • Deliver features end-to-end from design through implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Maintain systems, reduce technical debt, and contribute to continuous improvement and operational stability.
  • Support team outcomes through clear communication, accountability, and collaborative work in a distributed environment.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications with C#, .NET (MVC, Web API, .NET Core), and JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with Ember.js is an advantage.
  • Solid experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including data modeling and efficient query writing.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including scalable systems, API design, and common data structures.
  • Experience building across multiple platforms, including desktop and mobile applications, is an advantage.
  • Experience delivering features end-to-end from design through implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Strong sense of ownership, with attention to quality, maintainability, and performance.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely on design discussions and code reviews.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
