Description

  • Ship new features and improve existing systems across web, mobile, and backend surfaces with a focus on reliability and user experience.
  • Drive architectural decisions for new services, balancing scalability, maintainability, and rapid delivery in a multi-stack environment.
  • Partner with product managers and designers early in solution design to shape problems, challenge assumptions, and define the right approach.
  • Own the technical backlog by ideating, prioritizing, scoping, and delivering technical initiatives.
  • Communicate technical trade-offs and project progress clearly to stakeholders across time zones.
  • Champion observability and reliability by defining dashboards, alerts, and service-level objectives.
  • Set pragmatic engineering standards and make sound judgment calls on speed versus robustness.
  • Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews, pairing, and ongoing support.
  • Work autonomously and take ownership of problems from design through post-release support.
  • Contribute to team planning, design discussions, and continuous improvement in a distributed environment.

Requirements

  • Deep React expertise with a frontend-anchored focus.
  • Strong TypeScript proficiency and solid understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML/CSS, DOM APIs, and ES modules.
  • Ability to drive mobile architecture decisions across React Native.
  • Senior-level experience with .NET Core (C# and Web API) and container-based backend architecture.
  • Experience owning a technical backlog, including ideation, scoping, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Proven ability to deliver features end-to-end from technical design through production release.
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
  • RESTful API design experience and strong relational database thinking.
  • Strong understanding of scalable system design, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Solid command of the full software development lifecycle, including testing, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and operational practices.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for AI-assisted development and the ability to use AI tools thoughtfully with human oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders across time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with React Native and Expo, including build, release, and distribution pipelines (preferred).
  • Familiarity with containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with DataDog, Azure, or similar observability and cloud tooling (preferred).
  • Understanding of i18n and accessibility standards for web and mobile applications (preferred).
