Description

  • Build and maintain product features by developing new functionality and improving existing systems for reliability, performance, and user experience.
  • Work within an agile development team to design and build interactive web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and QA throughout the development cycle to build, test, and improve features.
  • Use data and user behaviour to inform decisions, including experimentation and A/B testing where relevant.
  • Balance delivery speed and quality to make thoughtful trade-offs and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to draft code, explore solutions, write tests, and improve productivity while reviewing what ships.
  • Take ownership of problems, explore solutions independently, and ask questions when needed.
  • Own your work and remain accountable for its impact on customers and the business.
  • Contribute to technical specifications and the development and deployment of software.
  • Participate constructively in design discussions, reviews, and planning while communicating progress and risks clearly.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building web applications using C# and .NET, including MVC, Web API, and .NET Core as a plus.
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases and an understanding of how data flows through an application.
  • A growing understanding of software fundamentals such as scalable systems, APIs, and basic data structures.
  • Experience building across multiple platforms, including desktop and mobile applications, is an advantage.
  • Curiosity and strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn as you go.
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your work, with comfort asking questions and accepting feedback.
  • Interest in building customer-facing software and thinking about how real people use products.
  • Comfort working collaboratively by sharing ideas, giving and receiving feedback, and learning together.
  • A degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent practical experience.
