Description

  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
  • Automate operational workflows and standardize environments across engineering teams.
  • Improve infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain observability, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  • Ensure systems meet security and industry compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with full-stack, data, AI, and DevOps engineers on scalable backend solutions.
  • Drive infrastructure projects from conception through completion with substantial individual ownership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience, ideally involving infrastructure, performance, security, or compliance.
  • Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Python; strong candidates from other object-oriented programming backgrounds may be considered.
  • Experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and performance tuning, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Terraform, infrastructure-as-code best practices, and Docker or similar tools.
  • Strong ownership, communication, project execution, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to experiment, measure results, and iterate quickly on complex or novel problems.
  • Experience with LLMs/generative AI and distributed systems preferred.
