Description

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering roles, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, and closing.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop role scorecards and search strategies.
  • Source and build pipelines for passive, specialized technical, and AI/ML candidates.
  • Provide market and compensation intelligence and lead offer negotiations.
  • Develop and improve interview kits, scorecards, and structured debrief processes.
  • Act as a strategic recruiting partner to company leaders and hiring managers while meeting hiring goals.
  • Strengthen Kalepa’s employer brand within engineering and AI communities.
  • Nurture candidate pipelines and maintain relationships over time.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
  • Track record hiring backend, infrastructure, full-stack, or ML/AI engineers.
  • Experience partnering directly with engineering leaders on intake and closing.
  • Strong independent sourcing ability, including passive-candidate recruiting.
  • Proficiency with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS.
  • Experience with sourcing tools such as Juicebox, Metaview, and Seekout.
  • Ability to manage a full requisition load with minimal oversight.
  • Experience experimenting with new tools and approaches to identify high-quality engineers.
  • Ability to evaluate your own work and communicate transparently about results.
  • Experience recruiting for AI/ML or LLM-focused roles (preferred).
  • Experience building a recruiting function at an early-stage company (preferred).
  • Insurtech, fintech, or regulated B2B SaaS recruiting experience (preferred).

  • Base salary of $145,000–$200,000, depending on experience, performance, and location.
