Description

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering roles from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, and closing.
  • Partner with hiring managers to create role scorecards and search strategies.
  • Source and develop pipelines of passive, specialized technical, and AI/ML candidates.
  • Provide market and compensation intelligence for hiring plans and negotiate offers.
  • Build and improve interview kits, scorecards, and structured debrief processes.
  • Advise company leaders and hiring managers while ensuring hiring goals are met efficiently.
  • Strengthen Kalepa’s employer brand within engineering and AI communities.
  • Nurture candidate pipelines and maintain relationships over time.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
  • Track record hiring backend, infrastructure, full-stack, or ML/AI engineers.
  • Experience partnering directly with engineering leaders on intake and closing.
  • Strong independent sourcing skills using modern recruiting tools.
  • Fluency with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS, plus tools such as Juicebox, Metaview, and SeekOut.
  • Ability to manage a full requisition load with minimal oversight.
  • Creative, experimental approach to identifying and engaging high-quality engineers.
  • Transparent, self-critical approach to evaluating recruiting effectiveness.
  • Experience nurturing long-term candidate relationships.
  • Preferred: AI/ML or LLM recruiting experience; experience building an early-stage recruiting function; or insurtech, fintech, or regulated B2B SaaS recruiting experience.
