Description

  • Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process invoices promptly in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Verify vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Manage vendor inquiries and payment-related concerns.
  • Prepare and process electronic payments, including wire transfers and ACH transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve variances.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze reports to track expenses, monitor vendor performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and vendors.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance is a plus.
  • Experience in the real estate industry is preferred.
