Description

Support advanced month-end close activities, including software capitalization, complex allocations, debt, accruals, subsidiary reviews, and consolidation.
Prepare and post elimination and consolidation journal entries and perform intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
Manage assigned subsidiary entity accounting close processes in accordance with US GAAP and coordinate local statutory filings.
Conduct GL account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance or flux explanations for profit and loss and balance sheet accounts.
Support revenue-related month-end activities, including accruals and revenue recognition.
Assist with cash management activities, including bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and intercompany settlements.
Assist management with reporting, financial analysis, and responses to accounting inquiries.
Research accounting issues and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
Own ad hoc projects and requests related to financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones and participate in backup coverage planning and training.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
2+ years of experience in corporate accounting.
3 years in public accounting (audit) preferred.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting close.
Proven ability to identify accounting issues, connect data across accounts and systems, and implement solutions independently.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate variances and explain financial movements clearly.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
Experience with Oracle Fusion preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
