Description

  • Execute Level I installer responsibilities while following documentation and installation standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets with strong organization and timely status updates.
  • Take ownership of assigned work by understanding project scopes and service expectations.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating tasks within team capabilities and maintaining productivity.
  • Mentor Level 1 installers and support continuous improvement through feedback and coaching.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) on products before installation.
  • Configure, program, and commission systems to ensure reliable operation.
  • Work with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products.
  • Provide basic operational training to customers and accept additional duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high and/or low voltage.
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work experience.
  • Basic telecommunications knowledge, including TCP/IP, networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Prior knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid US driver’s license.
  • Experience with system configuration, commissioning, and technical installation work preferred.
