Description

  • Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Support customers at all levels of management, including senior executives, with questions and troubleshooting related to the Justworks platform.
  • Resolve issues related to compliance, workers’ compensation, time-off policies, reporting, integrations, bulk actions, payroll, tax, benefits, and other HR topics.
  • Use creative solutions to answer customer questions, provide guidance, troubleshoot problems, and route feedback.
  • Manage a queue of open issues to deliver timely and effective resolutions.
  • Use available resources appropriately to resolve customer issues.
  • Support customer retention and recommend improvements to products and processes.
  • Handle sensitive customer matters with professionalism and compassion.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional customer service experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or contact center environments.
  • 1+ year of experience in payroll, benefits, and/or HR administration.
  • Strong written communication skills for email and chat, and strong verbal communication skills for phone support.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with business owners and executives and handle challenging situations over the phone.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and explain them in easy-to-understand terms.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions and take ownership and accountability for work.
  • Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Spanish language capability or another second language at a business conversation level is a plus.
  • Willingness to attend mandatory paid virtual training Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm EST for approximately 4 weeks before starting the assigned shift.
