Description

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales measures and targets.
  • Develop customer relationships and contribute to customer strategies.
  • Create and execute sales strategies across culinary, operations, marketing, and purchasing functions.
  • Manage broker-dedicated distributor sales teams across AK, CO, ID, MT, OR, UT, WA, and WY.
  • Partner with distributors to grow underdeveloped brands and expand portfolio usage.
  • Lead customer negotiations in alignment with company brand strategies and trading terms.
  • Coordinate with Demand Planning to meet or exceed customer service levels.
  • Identify opportunities to improve category efficiency, profitability, and management.
  • Mobilize culinary, marketing, customer marketing, management, and R&D resources to execute sales plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of food or beverage sales experience.
  • Previous experience with specific foodservice distribution customers.
  • Experience selling to operators and chains.
  • In-depth knowledge of branded consumer packaged foods and foodservice channel dynamics.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and adapt to change.
  • Four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent management experience.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%.
