Description

  • Respond to procurement requests from Technical Advisors in a professional and timely manner.
  • Source aviation parts for purchase requisitions, Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders, Requests for Information (RFI), and related needs.
  • Create competitive RFQs and negotiate pricing with suppliers while meeting configuration, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Create, track, and expedite purchase orders for Trust accounts, JSSI Inc., and JSSI Parts.
  • Maintain regular communication and provide proactive status updates to Technical Advisors and third-party customers.
  • Track parts through the system to ensure costs are assigned to the correct project and billed appropriately.
  • Manage core units for internal and third-party vendors on behalf of Trust accounts, JSSI Inc., and JSSI Parts.
  • Handle international shipping requirements, including export compliance, paperwork, certifications, taxes, duties, and fees.
  • Participate in an AOG on-call or shift rotation and volunteer for additional shift coverage as needed.
  • Maintain accurate data in AvSight, Salesforce, and AMS, and prepare monthly activity reports as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of a high school diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in aviation-related procurement and inventory control.
  • Business aviation purchasing experience.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • AvSight experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to solve problems and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to generate reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Experience using systems for inventory control and purchasing.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

  • Annual base salary range of $75,000 to $95,000.
