Description

  • Provide training and consulting services to clients on the implementation and use of Jenzabar software systems.
  • Learn Jenzabar software and configure the system based on client business practices and requirements.
  • Consult with and train end users on the optimal configuration and use of Jenzabar’s J1 Student Information System.
  • Gather, review, and understand client business processes as they relate to the software.
  • Document training and consulting engagements and maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Perform assigned project tasks with minimal supervision and follow established project methodology.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other team members to execute projects and meet deliverables on schedule.
  • Communicate clearly, accurately, and promptly with Jenzabar and client project teams.
  • Solicit input on implementation solutions, share knowledge, and stay current on industry trends and technologies.
  • Support other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in higher education.
  • Experience in one or more functional areas: Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Advising, Student Life, Business Office, or Advancement.
  • Experience with Jenzabar EX/J1 Student Information System or ERP.
  • Ability to travel up to 25-50%.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team environment, and with a proactive, self-starting approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with follow-through on project plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for functional end users.
  • Strong problem-solving and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfort working with evolving and ever-changing technology.
