Description

  • Maintain the tools used by Cloud Services to manage vulnerability remediation tasks.
  • Respond to SIEM and file integrity monitoring detections.
  • Collaborate with Information Security on Identity Protection and Exposure Management solutions.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain virtual servers.
  • Manage backup systems and perform system restores.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Maintain technologies supporting vulnerability scanning, cloud platforms, data loss prevention, endpoint detection and response, and identity and access management.
  • Participate in assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and remediation actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and best practices into systems and applications.
  • Provide guidance to cross-functional teams to build awareness and promote security best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cloud systems, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a cloud service-related role, development role with strong systems experience, or information security analyst role.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning, cloud technologies, SIEM, IDS/IPS, file integrity monitoring, data loss prevention, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify security issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience or knowledge of Atlassian Suite, Terraform, Cloudflare, Kubernetes, Rapid7, and CrowdStrike solutions is preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as SOC2, PCI DSS, and GDPR is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud principles and practices across AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices and security incident response or forensic investigations is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $61,000-$74,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
