Description

  • Organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives for both AI teams.
  • Shield teams from integration distractions by ensuring junior developers receive clean task definitions, structured schemas, and clearly scoped requirements.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and interface mapping between senior and junior engineering layers.
  • Translate architectural guardrails such as network isolation, database limits, and cost controls into practical engineering workflows.
  • Partner with System Architects and Loftware Architects to safely use AWS services and read replicas within security, tenant isolation, and regional compliance boundaries.
  • Lead technical review sessions to choose appropriate storage strategies across MemoryDB, Redis OSS, Valkey, pgvector, and OpenSearch.
  • Oversee evaluation frameworks for multi-step agent workflows to ensure deterministic behavior and reduce hallucinations.
  • Validate data ingestion flows and internal tool-calling structures to enforce type-safe validation and protect downstream systems from malformed responses or PII leakage.
  • Oversee the centralized repository for system prompts, prompt caching strategies, and Amazon Bedrock configurations.
  • Define and enforce CI/CD strategies for AI agents so prompt, embedding, and routing-rule changes deploy without service disruption.
  • Contribute to operational protocols for mid-workflow deployment failures, idempotency, and graceful recovery from model or pipeline issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering and/or Technical Leadership.
  • 3+ years leading AI/ML or high-throughput distributed systems teams.
  • Proven experience running agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban across multi-tiered or split engineering teams.
  • Deep hands-on architectural experience with LLMs and enterprise-scale systems.
  • Experience partnering with System Architects to govern AWS infrastructure usage, security controls, and resource provisioning.
  • Familiarity with agentic orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AWS Step Functions, or equivalent at an architectural governance level.
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Bedrock APIs, Guardrails, and Knowledge Base configurations.
  • Understanding of vector retrieval strategies such as pgvector and Amazon OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, plus in-memory data stores such as Amazon MemoryDB, Redis OSS, or Valkey.
  • Experience designing for idempotency and stateful rollback in distributed AI pipelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience negotiating architectural and infrastructure decisions on behalf of engineering teams.
  • Hands-on implementation experience with Vercel AI SDK, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
