Description

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the Texas regional team of District Partnership Specialists and Professional Learning Specialists.
  • Set the vision and direction for the Texas region.
  • Strengthen district implementations by developing creative new support strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to grow customer relationships across the region.
  • Partner with marketing to plan and execute regional professional learning events, including webinars and IXL Live events.
  • Stay current on statewide initiatives affecting Texas K-12 schools and align implementations and professional development accordingly.
  • Travel to districts to provide professional development and observe team members, with up to 60% travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% travel the rest of the year.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the team.
  • Use data to identify trends and inform decision-making.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 5+ years of experience managing professional development teams.
  • K-12 teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of K-12 education in Texas.
  • Experience leading and developing teams focused on implementation and professional development for K-12 educators.
  • Proven people management skills with the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and a deep understanding of professional learning best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Must live close to a major airport.
  • Preferred: creative thinker and problem-solver with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
