Description

  • Greet patients, answer phones, and serve as the first point of contact for visitors.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while ensuring pre-visit requirements and authorizations are complete.
  • Verify patient insurance, update demographic information, and collect copays accurately.
  • Coordinate patient flow and communicate with nursing staff to support safe and efficient center operations.
  • Maintain an organized, stocked, and welcoming front desk and reception area.
  • Support additional centers in the market during staff absences, openings, or high-volume periods.
  • Maintain patient records and support daily administrative operations of the infusion center.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of front desk or administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong understanding of insurance verification, billing basics, and the patient intake process.
  • Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and patient-facing protocols.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and accurate.
  • Quick learning agility and the ability to adapt to new processes quickly.
  • Adaptable and dependable, with willingness to support multiple centers and evolving workflows.
  • Experience with rotating Saturdays is preferred, as the schedule includes Monday–Friday regular business hours with rotating Saturdays.
