Description

  • Develop and maintain desktop applications on Windows and macOS using React Native.
  • Integrate JavaScript and TypeScript code with native C++ and Java modules using JNI.
  • Debug issues across JavaScript, native C++, and Java layers using tools such as Visual Studio, WinDbg, gdb, and React Native Developer Tools.
  • Architect and deliver reliable, high-performance enterprise features.
  • Collaborate closely with platform engineers, backend developers, and QA teams.
  • Package and deploy Windows applications using MSIX or macOS packages.
  • Own end-to-end feature delivery from design through deployment.
  • Improve code quality through code reviews, refactoring, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in application development on desktop and mobile platforms, preferred on desktop.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native for desktop platforms.
  • Solid working knowledge of C++ for native module development.
  • Exposure to JNI for Java-native code integration.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, object-oriented programming, and operating system concepts.
  • Confidence with REST API integration and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with coding, code review, refactoring, and multi-layer debugging.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Windows application architectures such as Win32, UWP, and WinUI, as well as MSIX packaging, preferred.
  • Knowledge of macOS installers, make file systems, and debugging with gdb, preferred.
