Description

  • Own configuration, access, master data, integrations, and operational health for Acumatica, Ramp, Adaptive Insights, Vertex, and future finance systems.
  • Monitor and resolve synchronization errors, data mismatches, workflow failures, and root-cause issues.
  • Maintain system documentation, change logs, workflows, and vendor relationships while coordinating upgrades and feature rollouts.
  • Evaluate and improve Finance and cross-functional processes to reduce manual effort and error risk.
  • Design and implement automation and workflow solutions with technical and functional partners.
  • Ensure systems support audit readiness, internal controls, tax compliance, and data governance.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations covering value, trade-offs, resources, implementation, and success measures.
  • Lead finance systems projects from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide expert support to Finance and Operations teams and communicate project status, risks, and decisions to leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERP, spend management, bill pay, and financial planning systems in an operational or ownership capacity.
  • Direct experience with at least two of Acumatica, Ramp, Adaptive Insights, Vertex, or comparable platforms; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Track record of initiating and completing process improvements, not merely documenting or recommending them.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead organizational change without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including building business cases, presenting trade-offs, and influencing decisions.
  • Self-directed ability to own work end-to-end with limited oversight while keeping leadership informed.
  • Experience with API integrations, workflow automation, or low-code tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, or native ERP automation.
  • Accounting or finance knowledge sufficient to understand how system configurations affect financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting Finance systems implementation or migration projects.
  • Experience in a nonprofit, SaaS, or dual-model organization preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship and reside in the continental U.S.

  • Starting salary of $104,000–$130,000 per year.
