Description

  • Travel to client sites up to 50% or more of the time to execute field engineering and project requests.
  • Provide customer service and IT support during client communications and onsite visits.
  • Disperse, install, and validate equipment at the correct onsite location using best practices for cable management.
  • Diagnose technical issues, determine solutions, and produce timely, detailed reports.
  • Work with the Project Manager and senior engineers to execute projects based on priorities, goals, and objectives.
  • Notify Professional Services management when issues are ongoing and impacting end users.
  • Document client issues, escalate problems to the Project Manager, and maintain service logs, system configurations, and technical procedures.
  • Manage the onsite ticket queue for resource requests and complete ticket updates with clear notes and next steps.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, internal stakeholders, and client stakeholders to align resources and timelines.
  • Complete billing tasks accurately and create documentation as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT experience in an advanced support or field service role.
  • 1–2 years of project coordination experience.
  • Knowledge of workstation deployment and PC applications.
  • Experience leading a small team with tight deliverable timelines.
  • Experience with high travel volume, including navigating flights and airports to reach client locations.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting wireless access points and conference room solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, server technology, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • MCSE, MCSA, MCP, A+, and/or Network+ certifications are desirable.
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment based on customer scheduling requirements.
  • Ability to lift 35–50 lbs and perform physical onsite work.
  • Experience using ticket management systems.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong multitasking ability with attention to detail and accuracy.
